A Southampton teenager is in hospital after his motorcycle collided with an ambulance on Saturday.

The crash happened after around 4.00am near the junction of Riviera Road and Middle Road in Sandys.

“At last check, the motorcyclist was listed in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit.”

While both vehicles were damaged there were no other reported injuries.

Meanwhile, the spokesman said that a Sandys woman injured last week while crossing the road in Southampton remains in stable condition in the hospital.

The 48-year-old was reportedly struck by a motorcycle near the junction of Middle Road and Industrial Park Road.
