Man denies bracelets theft

A Pembroke man today denied possessing cannabis and stealing $6,500 worth of golden bracelets.

Shuaib Worrell, 36, of Edgeway Lane, pleaded not guilty to the possession and theft charges, as well as two further counts of obstructing a police officer and handling stolen goods.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo released Mr Worrell on $2,000 bail for the possession charge, and $5,000 with one surety for the charge of theft.

Mr Worrell will reappear for trial on June 10.
