Sandys man found with cannabis

A Sandys man was today given a conditional discharge after being brought before Magistrates’ Court for possessing 1.1 grams of cannabis — a charge dating back to 2010.

The court heard that around 10.35pm on October 22 that year, police were processing Antoine Brangman, 41, of Laurel Lane, for another matter.

As they searched Brangman, they found a brown paper twist containing plant-like material that subsequent analysis showed it to be cannabis.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo gave Brangman a conditional dishcharge for the offence.

Brangman has no prior drug-related offences.
