A 23-year-old Paget woman was today charged stealing more than $200 from the Hamilton MarketPlace.

Akilah Smith, of Tribe Road number five, denied four counts of stealing and four counts of falsifying sales transactions between August 28 and September 24, 2013.

She is accused of stealing the money through falsifying four transactions, worth $42.44, $51.23, $60.49 and $88.02, totalling $242.18.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released Ms Smith on $3,000 bail with one surety.

She will reappear on March 31.
