Man accused of 10 burglaries

A 29-year-old man has been charged with 10 burglaries and stealing more than $120,000 worth of jewellery, cash, video games, and electronics.

Steven O’Neill, who is already an inmate at Westgate Correctional Facility, was not required to enter a plea in Magistrates’ Court this morning as he will by tried by jury in Supreme Court.

Between January and March this year, Mr O’Neill is alleged to have stolen a total of $120,990 worth of goods from homes in Southampton, Warwick, Paget, Pembroke and Smith’s.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded Mr O’Neill back into custody.

He will reappear on April 10.
