CURB supports ‘People’s Campaign’

Citizens Uprooting Racism Bermuda has voiced its support of ‘The People's Campaign for Equality, Jobs, and Justice', which will be staging a May Day Rally and march on Parliament today.

“CURB stands in support of the People's Campaign and promotes the belief that equality, jobs and justice are our inherent democratic right as Bermudians,” read a statement from the group.

The intent of the march is to “present Government with a People's Manifesto that will set the standard of expectation outlined by the People of Bermuda,” according to The People's Campaign promotional flyer for the event, which will begin at 12:30pm at Victoria Park.
