Families and tourists flocked to St George’s at the weekend to celebrate the Portuguese Festival of the Holy Spirit.

The family friendly two-day event included live entertainment from Portuguese singer Sarah Pacheco, The Travellers, and Caroline Araujo, plus traditional dances.

Portuguese food and baked goods were also on sale at the free event, held at King’s Square.

This was the 19th annual festival, which focused on faith and showcased displays of religious arts and crafts.
