A 36-year-old policeman has been arrested on suspicion of committing sexual offences and suspended from duty, according to a press statement from Bermuda Police Service.

Detective Superintendent James Howard said: “Because of the nature of the offences and the fact that there is an active investigation underway no further comment will be made at this time.” The officer has not been named.
