A 30-year-old Southampton man has denied assaulting a woman.

Damien Martin pleaded not guilty in Magistrates’ Court this morning to unlawfully assaulting Germaine Darrell and doing her bodily harm on September 5 in Pembroke.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner set a trial date of January 14 and released the accused on $2,000 bail with one surety.
