Two men have been taken to hospital following a collision involving two motorcycles on Roberts Avenue, Devonshire.

A Police spokeswoman said this evening that it appears the vehicles were travelling in opposite directions near the junction with Friswells Road when they collided.

Both riders were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with “unknown injuries”.

As of 8pm this evening, Police have blocked off a section of Roberts Avenue as they carry out their initial investigation into the crash.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the collision to come forward and contact Police at 295-0011.
