Man admits threatening behaviour

A man accused of threatening a fellow client at the Harbourlight drug treatment centre has been remanded, pending an appearance later this week at the mental health court.

Andrew Arorash appeared in Magistrates’ Court on his 45th birthday today, after he allegedly told another man: “I’m going to bust your face — I’m going to punch you full in the face; you’ve been messing with me all this time.”

Arorash, of Pembroke, admitted the offence, telling Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo: “I’ll plead guilty for making him afraid.”

Mr Tokunbo ordered him to be held in prison until a mental health court hearing on Thursday.
