Injured motorcyclist’s condition improves

The victim of a serious accident in Paget on Wednesday is now in stable condition, and has been moved to a general ward at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, a Police spokesman has reported.

The 22-year-old Warwick man had been described as being in critical condition and was initially cared for in the hospital’s intensive care unit following the two motorcycle collision that occurred around 5:45am on South Road in Paget near the junction with Tribe Road No. 4B.

The other injured rider, a 69-year-old Devonshire man, is in stable condition today and on a general ward.

Inquiries are ongoing, and police continue to appeal for any witnesses to this collision. Anyone with information should contact Constable Stephen Clyke at the main police telephone number 295-0011.
