The PLP Sandys South branch is to hold a constituency clinic and voter registration drive this Saturday.

Residents of constituency 33 and any other members of the public are invited to attend Somers Isles Lodge from noon to 2pm.

Sandys South Member of Parliament Jamahl Simmons said: “During the by-election, a number of constituents who had either just moved into the area or who were newly eligible to vote, were unable to participate as their voter registration information had not been updated.

“An election may be held at anytime and as a service to our constituents, we are pleased to offer the first of several opportunities to register or update your voting information.

“Our Democracy works best when Bermudians participate; let their voices be heard and hold their representatives accountable.

“Our monthly clinic offers an opportunity for voters to express concerns, share ideas and get involved in helping to make our community better and stronger.
