A 25-year-old Warwick man was remanded into custody in Magistrates’ Court this morning after he pleaded not guilty to stalking a woman and intruding on her privacy.

Crown Prosecutor Susan Mulligan told the court that the defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, allegedly committed the offences between June 8 last year and January 19 this year.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo remanded the defendant into custody and ordered a mental health report.

The defendant elected to be tried in Magistrates’ Court and the matter was adjourned to February 4 for mention.
