A Devonshire man was banned from the roads for 18 months after he pleaded guilty in Magistrates’ Court this morning to dangerous driving.

The court heard that Jesse Seymour, 25, rode his motorcycle against the flow of traffic on several one-way streets in Hamilton, including Burnaby Street and the Bus Terminal, on March 29.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo fined Seymour $1,000 and disqualified him from driving all vehicles for 18 months.

Seymour also pleaded guilty to speeding at 73kph on June 21, for which he was given a $400 fine.
