PAC meeting to discuss America’s Cup funding

The Public Accounts Committee is meeting tomorrow to discuss public funding for the America's Cup.

The group is expected to hear from the Permanent Secretary for Economic Development, William Francis.

The public hearing will be held at 2.30pm in the library at the House of Assembly.

The PAC, chaired by Shadow Finance Minister David Burt, is made up of MPs and is authorised by the House of Assembly to examine and report on matters relating to the accounts.

The committee also investigates findings reported by the auditor general in the auditor's annual and other special reports.
