Cada-Encouraging Responsible Alcohol Behaviour celebrated today, along with the Department for National Drug Control and Pride Bermuda as Nandi Outerbridge, the Junior Minister for Community, Culture and Sport, and shadow minister Michael Weeks handed out certificates to 67 Somersfield Academy and BHS students upon completing the Life Skills Programme.

“Life Skills Training is a research-validated substance abuse prevention programme, proven to reduce the risks of alcohol, tobacco, drug abuse and violence by targeting the major social and psychological factors that promote the initiation of substance use and other risky behaviours,” Anthony Santucci, the executive chairman of Cada, said. “This comprehensive and exciting programme provides adolescents and young teens with the confidence and skills necessary to successfully handle challenging situations.”
