A car that was stolen from outside a Paget property has been has been found at the Botanical Gardens.

The black Chevrolet Spark was taken outside a White Sands Road property sometime between 10pm on Friday and 5am on Saturday.

The vehicle was found at 10am today and initially impounded by police as inquiries into the theft continued.

Meanwhile two other cars that were stolen over the holiday weekend are still missing.

A grey Honda CR-V bearing licence plate number 47232 was removed from Reid Street near the junction with Burnaby Street sometime between 8pm Friday and 1am Saturday.

A blue Peugeot 207 hatchback with the license plate number 13354 was taken from outside an Ocean Avenue, Devonshire residence sometime between 9.30pm on Sunday and 2.30am today.
