At about 7.55am today, first responders were dispatched to a reported serious collision on Malabar Road in Sandys, just west of Watford Bridge.

It appears that a motorcycle being ridden out of Dockyard struck the kerb. The injured male rider was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. The extent of his injuries is unknown.

An update regarding the victim’s condition will be given when more details are available.

Traffic collision investigators are examining the scene and inquiries regarding this collision continue.
