A plane from Paris diverted to Bermuda so that a sick passenger could receive medical treatment.

The American Airlines flight, bound for Miami, arrived at LF Wade International Airport at about 1.45pm yesterday.

According to airport staff, the sick man and his wife were immediately taken by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. The plane refuelled and left Bermuda shortly before 3.30pm.
