Families pack out community event

First Prev 1 2 Next Last

Hundreds of people enjoyed the festivities at a community event in Parsons Road this afternoon.

The Back 2 School Community Jam, organised by radio personality Brotha Richie, real name Lynwood Richardson, and Kenneth Richardson, gave families the chance to kick off their Labour Day weekend in high spirits.

Numerous donations ensured there was free food and drink for everyone, with music and games adding to the entertainment.

Lynwood Richardson told The Royal Gazette today: “It's been great to have so much support from the community. We're really pleased at the turnout. Hopefully this can inspire some of the young people before they go back to school next week.”
