The Hamilton Parish Council has given three undergraduate students a financial boost through a series of scholarships.

London Steede-Jackson was awarded a $5,000 scholarship to continue his studies in Sports Management at Thomas College in Maine, while Christina Arden and Ashley Ming were each awarded $2,500 scholarships.

Ms Arden is studying Health Sciences at the University of Bristol while Ms Ming is studying Teacher Training at Georgia State University.

This is the second year that the Hamilton Parish Council has awarded students scholarships and bursaries. The scholarship is open to undergraduate students who reside in the parish and have completed at least one year at an accredited college or university.
