Premier meets Bishop-elect

Michael Dunkley has welcomed Roman Catholic Bishop-elect Wieslaw M Spiewak and the current Bishop of Hamilton, Robert Kurtz to the Cabinet Office.

Bishop Kurtz is retiring and is to be replaced by Father Spiewak next month.

Father Spiewak has been the provincial superior of the Polish Province for six years, and also had responsibility for Congregation of the Resurrection Houses in Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Slovakia and Ukraine.

The Premier was also joined by Cabinet Secretary, Dr Derrick Binns.
