Christmas has come early for the Eliza DoLittle Society thanks to a $11,000 donation from Hannover Re L&H.

A company spokesman said: “Hannover Re L&H and all the team here are delighted to make a contribution to Sarah Mardon and all the team at the Eliza DoLittle Society to support their mission to alleviate hunger and reduce food wastage in Bermuda by rescuing and distributing food to Bermuda’s hungry.”

An Eliza DoLittle Society spokeswoman added: “We are truly grateful for this wonderful support from Hannover Re L&H. There continues to be growing demand for our services which can only be met with the continuing support of the generosity of our many sponsors and volunteers.”
