Police ask for arrest witnesses

Police have put out a call for anyone who may have witnessed the arrest of a 17-year-old boy on St John’s Road, Pembroke on the evening of January 1.

Comments online suggest that witnesses were present on the vicinity where a police pursuit of the teen ended with his arrest.

Allegations of an assault were subsequently made.

An investigation has been started by police, and witnesses are urged to get in touch with Detective Inspector Derricka Burns via her e-mail dburns@bps.bm or direct telephone 247-1062.
