Charity “Zumbathon” to be held on Sunday

A one-off “Zumbathon” comes to Rosewood Tucker’s Point this Sunday morning to benefit the “Relay for Life” cancer charity fundraiser.

The dance workout class, priced at $20 per person, takes place from 10am to 11.30pm on the croquet lawn.

Participants will also receive a $45 credit for a future spa treatment at Sense Spa.

Now in its third year, “Relay for Life” will be held at the National Sports Centre on May 27 and May 28, with teams taking turns walking laps around a track for 24 hours.

Ninety-five per cent of the proceeds will go to the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre and the remaining five per cent to Global Relay For Life in the United States.
