Shooting victim in stable condition

A man who reportedly suffered multiple gunshot wounds yesterday is in stable condition.

According to police, the 21-year-old was shot by a single gunman who descended from Curving Avenue onto Middletown Drive shortly before 3.30pm.

A spokeswoman said this morning: “At last check, the male who was shot in the Middle Town, Pembroke area yesterday has been admitted into the intensive care unit at King Edward Memorial Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

“Police are particularly keen to speak with anyone who saw a man riding a white bike, likely to be a Sym model that may have had a red insignia on the muffler.”
