Change of venue for Hero Induction

Government have changed the venue for Sunday's National Hero Induction and Proclamation Ceremony because of the forecast of bad weather.

It will now be held at the Anglican Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, rather than Camden. The time will remain the same at 4pm.

The ceremony will be followed by a reception at the Cathedral Hall.

Meanwhile, the bad weather prediction has forced organisers to move Five Star Friday to the North Field at the National Sports Centre.

The event runs from 6pm to 12am, with gates opening at 5.30pm. A large tent will be erected on the field to provide shelter from the rain.
