A man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing ammunition after he was found lying near the roadside in the Mullet Bay Road area of St George’s following a collision.

Police reported that the 21-year-old was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and later arrested.

“The investigation into this matter is ongoing, with a file being prepared for review by the Department of Public Prosecutions (DPP) office,” said a police spokesperson.
