Company employees help Back to School project

Volunteers from Marsh and Guy Carpenter chipped into a back to school initiative by distributing lunches to students — and at the same time commemorated the 15th anniversary of the September 11 tragedy in New York.

Marsh & McLennan Companies, the parent of both firms, lost 358 employees and consultants on that day in 2001 and company employees across the world have volunteered for various community projects.

The Caines Back 2 School Extravaganza, on Tuesday this week, provided haircuts for students preparing to return to school and handed out essentials for families in need.
