Biker treated in hospital

A 20-year-old motorcyclist was treated in hospital on Saturday after colliding with a truck travelling in the opposite direction.

The St George's man suffered a cut to his foot as well as abrasions to his knees, elbows and hands as a result of the accident, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The collision occurred at 8.35pm on Saturday on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish, near the junction with Studio Lane.

Police inquiries into this incident continue and witnesses should contact the main police telephone number on 295-0011.
