The Bermuda Blood Donor Centre is urgently asking people with the blood type O negative to donate.

“Levels of O negative blood are low. Individuals with this blood type are quite rare, and so we are asking anyone who is O negative to help save lives,” a BBDC spokesperson said.

The centre is open from 8.30am to 2.30pm Monday to Thursday, and from 8.30am to 1pm on Friday, with designated donor parking spaces available at the lot off Berry Hill Road, Paget.

Call 236 5067 today to make an appointment. People who do not know their blood type but would like to donate are also invited to contact the centre.
