Teachers take issue with faulty AC

Teachers staged a work stoppage at TN Tatem Middle School today due to issues with faulty air conditioning.

Following constructive talks teachers and students are back in the classroom and work is being done to rectify the situation.

A Ministry of Education spokeswoman said: “As of last evening both ministries are working to resolve these issues.

“It should be noted that the ministry is committed to resolving maintenance issues at all schools in a responsive and timely matter for the health and safety of our teachers, staff and students.”

The Ministry of Education has its schedule for maintenance posted on the www.moed.bm website.
