Bermuda Fire and Rescue Services is investigating a blaze which badly damaged a large panel van in Warwick this morning.

Firefighters responded to the fire on St Mary’s Road shortly after 7am.

Fire Service spokesperson Staff Officer Sergeant Delton White said “a vehicle was reported to have visible flames and smoke emitting from the engine compartment.”

After the owner failed to contain the blaze with a fire extinguisher, BFRS personnel arrived. There were no injuries reported.
