Senator Renee Ming and her PLP colleagues have sent their condolences to the family of Dorothy Esdaille who died recently at the age of 93.

The long-time St George's resident was well known in the Cut Road area.

Ms Ming recalled Ms Esdaille as her Sunday School teacher at the St George's Salvation Army Church.

“Ms Esdaille was a God-fearing lady, an inspiration to many, and always had a kind word for everyone she encountered,” Ms Ming said. “Apart from loving the Lord, the secret to her longevity was a pure heart filled with love for her fellow man.”

She was the grandmother of one of Ms Ming's lifelong friends, St George's Mayor Quinell Francis.
