Motorcyclist ‘seriously hurt’ in collision

A motorcyclist is in a “serious” condition in hospital this evening after colliding with a car.
The accident happened on Marsh Folly Road in Pembroke at 8.53pm, according to a police spokesman.
“It appears that a motorcycle rider was travelling west on Marsh Folly Road when the male rider collided with a car that was travelling in the opposite direction,” he added.
“The rider of the cycle was taken to the hospital where his condition is believed to be serious.
“The area has been cordoned off while the relevant police officers process the scene.”
Police are asking witnesses to contact them on 295-0011.
