Car crashes over Paget embankment

Police are looking for the driver whose car apparently went over an embankment on South Road in Paget yesterday morning.

When police arrived at the scene — near Coral Beach Club — at around 4am, nobody was in the vehicle.

The car had been discovered by a member of the public.

“So far it appears that no one has attended the hospital for treatment regarding this incident”, said a police spokesman.

Police are appealing for the driver of the car, witnesses or anyone with information regarding the crash to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.
