St George Skates will stay open until January 15 due to popular demand — and will be back for more next year.

Planning Factory Bermuda announced it had received an “outpouring of support” and requests to keep the rink active beyond its scheduled January 2 close.

Cher Przelomski and Kathryn Massa of Planning Factory Bermuda stated: “We couldn’t be happier to know the skating rink has been adopted by Bermudians as a favourite activity on island for the holiday season.

“Although we’ll be closing on January 15, we will be back again next year due to our presenting sponsors, RUBiS and Bermuda Gas.”

St George’s mayor Quinell Francis stated: “We welcome St George Skates to extend skating into mid-January so the community can enjoy themselves in our beautiful town.”

Ptix.bm will list the dates and times, with two weekend skating options on offer.

Planning Factory Bermuda will also plan birthday packages for next year, as well as private corporate events and extra skating hours. E-mail further suggestions to cher@planningfactory.com.
