A 49-year-old motorcyclist injured in a “serious” crash last night was recovering on a general ward this morning, according to police.

The Warwick man, who has been arrested on suspicion of impaired driving, was taken to hospital after a single-vehicle accident in Smith’s at about 10.20pm.

According to a police spokesman, he was riding along Store Hill when he crashed near the junction with Middle Road.
