Bermudians currently residing and studying in the United Kingdom are being reminded of two work experience opportunities that are still up for grabs.

The Department of Workforce Development and the Bermuda London Office are currently offering a six-month internship and a summer employment programme.

The internship runs from July 3 to December 29.

“The successful intern can expect to gain a well-rounded international career exposure, with practical hands-on experience in working alongside the Government in its portfolio within the EU and UK,” said a Department of Workforce Development spokesperson.

The paid internship is open to applicants holding Bermudian status who have recently graduated in the field of finance, international relations, law, or subjects related to international diplomacy.

The summer employment programme also begins on July 3 and runs until August 31.

It is open to full-time student college or university students at the time of application submission, who are in good academic standing.

Two written references, as well as a personal essay outlying career aspirations and why the candidate feels they should be considered, are required.

Completed applications for both opportunities are due by Friday, April 28. Interviews will be conducted in London.
