A motorcyclist suffered suspected serious injuries in an accident in Hamilton today.

At about 1.20pm, police said they were diverting traffic from the area of Cavendish Road after a reported collision involving a car and a motorcycle.

Cavendish Road has been cordoned off. A police spokesman said: “Motorists can still go down Spurling Hill and up Lane Hill, but not along the section of Cavendish Road in between.”
