An online advertisement seems to confirm Fabian Minors as the One Bermuda Alliance candidate for Constituency 13.

The ad, running on YouTube, includes Mr Minors alongside previously announced candidates for the party.

It introduces him with the caption: Fabian Minors Candidate for Constituency #13.

“What I like about the OBA is that I feel that they can better manage the public purse,” Mr Minors, the owner of Bermuda Pet Sitters, said.

Ensuring that “all constituents in every constituency” are heard is a priority, he said.

“There are people going paycheque to paycheque, and I know what that is like,” Mr Minors said.

“Single parents needing assistance, the issues of our seniors getting what they need — I’m going to work as hard as I can to make sure that I make life better for every constituency.”

The Devonshire North Central seat is currently held by Progressive Labour Party member Diallo Rabain.

Mr Rabain won the seat over the OBA’s Andrew Simons, 461 votes to 351, in a by-election held in February 2016.

A press conference, at which the party said it would be unveiling more candidates ahead of the July 18 General Election, is scheduled for 12.45pm in Constituency 13 tomorrow.

Details on how many candidates would be named, and the specific location of the event, were not immediately provided by a party spokesman. A request for official confirmation was also not immediately responded to.

Attempts to contact Mr Minors were unsuccessful.
