Teachers have been summoned this morning to an emergency general membership meeting of the Bermuda Union of Teachers.

The announcement comes to a backdrop of frustration among educators over the long wait for contract negotiations.

No representatives from the BUT were available last night for comment.

Today’s meeting was set for 8.30am at the St Paul AME Centennial Hall.
