Motorcyclist injured in Devonshire crash

A motorcyclist was injured last night after a collision with a car in Devonshire.

According to a police spokesman, at around 11pm officers were dispatched to a report of a two-vehicle collision at the junction of Watlington Road East and Brighton Hill Road.

“Details remain limited at this time, however the motorcyclist, believed to be a 52-year-old man, was injured and transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment,” the spokesman said.

“Initial information suggests that his injuries are serious but not life threatening at this time and a condition update will be provided in due course.”
