Omari Symonds, 22, has been named as the motorcyclist killed in a road accident in Devonshire on Sunday evening.

Mr Symonds was riding in an easterly direction when he collided with a car being driven in the opposite direction on Middle Road, near the junction with Chaingate Hill, shortly before 9pm. It is the ninth road death of 2017.

A family liaison officer has been assigned to the family and an investigation is now under way, according to the Bermuda Police Service.

Witnesses or anyone with information regarding the movements of Mr Symonds before the crash should call PC Bianca Glasford on 247-1788.
