A man was today injured after falling off scaffolding.

The man, who has not been named, suffered injuries to his face and legs.

A spokeswoman for the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters were called to a report of an accident near the junction of Sound View Road and Valley Road shortly before 3pm.

She added: “The Fire Service responded to the incident with one vehicle and four emergency medical technicians, who quickly assessed the patient who was found to have facial and lower extremity injuries.”

The injured man was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
