Crash victims condition update

Three men injured in a collision on St John’s Road are still recovering in hospital.

A police spokesman said the 21-year-old car driver injured in the collision with a truck at 7.50pm on Tuesday was in a stable condition on a general ward.

He added that his passengers, a 22-year-pld Pembroke man and a 22-year-old Warwick man, remained in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit and on a general ward respectively.

Meanwhile, a 30-year-old male motorcyclist injured in a crash with a car at around 12.10am on Saturday near the junction of Elliot Street and Union Street also remained in hospital.

A spokesman said the Pembroke man was in a stable condition in the ICU as of this morning.

He added that inquiries regarding both accidents continue and any witnesses should contact police on 295-0011.
