A motorcyclist remains in hospital after hitting a parked truck in Hamilton last night.

The accident happened on Angle Street, near its junction with Cedar Avenue, shortly before 10pm.

The injured rider — believed to be a 34-year-old Pembroke man — was transported to hospital via ambulance.

Police said at last check this morning he remained in stable condition on a general ward.
