Road closure for city Food Truck Festival

A stretch of road in Hamilton is to be shut for a food truck festival at the weekend.

Pitts Bay Road will be closed from Bermudiana Road to Woodbourne Road from 1am to midnight on Sunday for the Bermuda Tourism Authority event.

And motorists were warned that any vehicles parked in the affected area should be moved by midnight on Saturday or they will be towed away.

Traffic travelling on Pitts Bay Road to Hamilton will be diverted along Woodbourne Road, Gorham Road and Par la Ville Road.

Vehicles coming out of the city will use Bermudiana Road, Gorham Road and Woodbourne Avenue.

A Government spokeswoman said: “The Ministry of Public Works takes this opportunity to thank the public in advance for their cooperation.”
