Care to holds its 17th annual tag day
Care Learning Centre is holding its seventeenth annual tag day tomorrow to raise funds for scholarships.
The Pembroke school caters for secondary pupils with academic and social problems, as well as non-traditional students who want to upgrade their high school qualifications.
Care — which is celebrating its 34th anniversary this month — last held its graduation ceremony at which several under-18 pupils graduated with honours, which allows credits for college or university enrolment.
Part of the funds raised will go towards GED testing at Bermuda College for students who cannot afford to sit the exam.
Donations can also be made to Butterfield Bank account number 2000-6060-220230-100 or by post to Care Learning Centre, PO Box HM 2806, Hamilton HM LX.
